June 21-23, 2014 - our first multi-day backpacking trip through the White Mountains. We hiked out on the Lincoln Woods and Franconia Brook Trails and stayed overnight at 13 Falls campsite, then hiked the Garfield Ridge and Franconia Ridge Trails with a second overnight at Liberty Springs tentsite, and hiked out along the Franconia Ridge and Osseo Trails back to Lincoln Woods Trail. Total distance = 23 miles. Total number of 4000 footers bagged = 5, including: Mt. Garfield (4500 ft), Mt. Lafayette (5260 ft), Mt. Lincoln (5089 ft), Mt. Liberty (4459 ft), and Mt. Flume (4328 ft).

From our second epic backpacking trip through the White Mountains in 2014. September 18-20, 2014. Our itinerary totaled 27 miles, with overnights at 13 Falls campsite and Guyot campsite. We bagged five 4000 footers: Mt. Galehead (4024 ft), South Twin (4902 ft), West Bond (4540 ft), Mt. Bond (4698 ft), and Bondcliff (4265 ft).
